Tsubame
Tsubame serves each station on the section it runs. Look at the destination as well as the name: a southbound Tsubame from Hakata can terminate at Kumamoto.
On 7 November 2026, Tsubame 313 was scheduled from Hakata to Kumamoto with a six-car 800. In the opposite direction, Tsubame 302 was scheduled from Shin-Yatsushiro through Hakata to Kokura on the San’yō Shinkansen with an eight-car N700. The train number settles both the route and the published formation.
