Two cooling methods in one design

The 2009 comparison lists both train-draft-cooled TCI100/WPC203 converters and forced-air boiling-cooled TCI3/WPC202 equipment. A single cooling label would hide this distinction.

Details from the literature

Inside the train

JR Central lists rotating, reclining seats for its Tōkaidō–San’yō N700 and N700A. Green Car uses the coordinated-recline comfort seat. An N700 label alone does not identify the eight-car San’yō–Kyūshū interior.
